The Divided Left

I agree with AOC. (I almost always do.) I'm deeply frustrated by the lack of coordinated resistance from elected Democrats generally. I don't blame them for Trump, but the overall lack of cohesion on the American left has contributed to cracks in a system that Trump's ilk, over time, have been able to infiltrate. But this move by Schumer is just plain capitulation. Look, we're not rubber stamped out at birth, but I think it should be a core Democratic principle that Trump is a piece of shit, and you don't negotiate with or appease pieces of shit. Ukraine knows it. So does Europe. Canada may be waffling, but Mexico has been cool as a cucumber. America?

We all know that America is deeply, perhaps mortally, divided. But why is there any dissent at all on the American left? You're the fucking minority party! Honestly, what power do you wield if it's not resistance?
